Getting Started
How does the free trial work?
Download the app, choose monthly or yearly, and get full access for 7 days. You won't be charged until the trial ends. Cancel anytime before then and pay nothing.
What happens when my trial ends?
Your subscription begins automatically and you continue using the app without interruption. All your data stays exactly where it is.
Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
You'll set up payment through the App Store, but you won't be charged until after the 7-day trial. Cancel anytime before then.
Features
What's the difference between Open, Delivered, and Paid?
Open = gig is scheduled but not yet done. Delivered = work is done, waiting for payment. Paid = money is in your account. This three-status system lets you see exactly where your income stands at a glance.
Can I send invoices directly from the app?
Yes! Create professional PDF invoices in seconds, then share via email, text, or AirDrop. Choose from multiple templates and add your payment details.
What are Media Types and Item Types?
Media Types organize projects by work category: Recording, Film, TV, Concert, Tour, or Lesson. Item Types are your invoice line items: Tracking Session, Overdub, Demo, Rehearsal, Per Diem, Score, Arrangement, and more. Create custom types for anything else.
Can I track expenses?
Gig Ledger Pro tracks reimbursable expenses for each project. Scan a gas receipt, screenshot an Uber ride, attach to your project and include when you invoice.
Does it help with taxes?
The app calculates quarterly estimated tax payments and lets you export your income data for your CPA. It's not a full tax solution, but it makes tax time much less stressful.
Data & Privacy
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored securely on your device or in your personal iCloud account. We never have access to your financial information.
Does my data sync across devices?
Yes! iCloud sync keeps everything current across your iPhone and iPad automatically.
Can I back up my data?
Yes. GigLedgerPro includes automatic and manual backups. You can also export your complete data anytime as CSV. Your iCloud data is automatically backed up by Apple.
Is my information secure?
Your data is protected by iCloud's industry-standard encryption. You can also add Face ID, Touch ID, or PIN protection to the app itself.

How much does it cost?
$99.99/year or $12.99/month. Both options include a 7-day free trial. The yearly plan saves you about 35%.
What's the launch special?
The first 100 subscribers lock in $59.99/year or $7.99/month for life - as long as they keep their subscription active.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Manage your subscription through the App Store. Cancel anytime and keep access until your current billing period ends.
Is there a refund policy?
Refunds are handled through Apple according to their App Store policies. If you're not satisfied, contact Apple Support for assistance.
